Discover the Power of Counseling
Counseling supports personal growth and healing.
Individual Therapy
Find your inner strength and confidence
Individual counseling provides you a safe space to share, heal, be heard, and grow. We will together find your sense of self-acceptance and a deeper understanding of your inner strengths. You will explore where you come from, make sense of your current patterns, and who you desire to become. Common issues I work with:
- Depression and anxiety
- Pregnancy and postpartum issues (postpartum mood disorders, miscarriage, infertility, pregnancy loss)
- Life transitions
- Job and career change or development
- Boundaries
- Self-development and growth
- Relationship and family issues
- Self-esteem and self-confidence
Multicultural Counseling
A special place for multicultural individuals & intercultural couples and families
With respect and curiosity, we will together address your specific challenges involving multicultures, ethnic heritages, cultural values and beliefs, languages, and identity issues. I provide a systemic cultural healing framework in working with interracial/intercultural couples, international and immigrant couples, first- and second-generation immigrants, and multicultural individuals. I welcome individuals and families from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Maternal Mental Health
A supportive space for mothers and families to find comfort, security and confidence through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond.
In a compassionate and non-judgemental space, you will be able to make sense of your emotions and thoughts, your motherhood experience, couplehood transition as new parents, pregnancy and birth experience, unexplained guilt, anger, intrusive thoughts, worries, and/or insecure feelings.
You will cultivate new perspectives of your experience, learn coping skills to manage your symptoms, and develop self-care and wellness plans. You will learn to better connect and attune to your babies and children, establish new routines to enhance communication with your partner, and navigate boundaries with family members and other caregivers.
